The Kennel's Kennel has set up a new walking prize for bitches of the breed Karelian bear dog.
The prize accrue to the bitch who received the highest score for loose dog tests on moose.
Should one or more bitches end up at the same score, the prize is awarded to the youngest of them. Known HD status is a requirement. Membership in the Swedish Bear Dog Club is a requirement, and that the test was carried out in Sweden. We hope that more bitch owners feel urged to put up on hunting tests. The winner is named the breeder who during the last trial season received the most hunting test merit individuals by the breed Karelian bear dog. All loose- and joint -dog samples passed in Sweden, Finland and Norway may be counted. Only individuals who have HD status A-C as well as eye-mirror and healthy sheep are included. Have several breeders the same number of hunting test merit individuals wins the one with the highest average score. Only one sample per dog may be counted. At equal points, the one who has the lowest average age wins on individuals. It is incumbent on the breeder to report the individuals who have gone to price to the secretary of the Swedish Björnhundklubben.
