The 6/12 The unofficial Nordic Karelian Bear Dog Championship was held in Kinnula, Finland.
Saana from Kovastunturi participated from Sweden, Ryvikens Snövit and Karpaasin Aki and the Swedish national teams competing in Nordiska and Ailatis Sako took part in Black Champion (The Master replied).
In total there were 56 participating dogs during the competition day.
Sweden won the team competition with a total of 194.5p ahead of Finland on 2:a place(150,5p) and Norway on 3:and(58,5p).
Ryvikens Snövit was best Swedish dog with a total 6:e place with a fine sample of 81.5p, Kovastunturi Saana placerade sig på en 8:e place overall with 77.5p
Karpaasin Aki blev total 28:e dog with 34p.
Ailatis Sako came up with a total 16:e place with 70p and was awarded as the youngest dog to take one 1:a prize in the competition.
The organizers had arranged a fantastic competition where everything was well organized and there was a big prize table.
Next year, the Karelian bear dog celebrates 90 years and the organizers aim to have 90 dogs in the starting field!
